Synopsis: Inspired by events that have been in the forefront of the media, "Songlap" bring to the screen the unexplored inner workings of the baby trafficking syndicate as seen through the eyes of these two brothers trying to survive the cutthroat nature of the city .Am (Shaheizy Sam) and Ad (Syafie Naswip) are involved in the trade of buying and selling babies, run by an elderly woman known as Mama (Eliza Wong). When a pregnant Hawa (Sara Ali), Ad's bestfriend's younger sister, is lured into the syndicate, the two brothers are pulled apart as Ad's desire to leave behind the merciless trade drives him to desperate measures. Close on their heels is Pak Din (Omar Abdullah) who's obessed with tracking down his runaway daughter Hawa.
